Guides
Short notes on picking an output format and understanding the conversion path Justvert will take.
When to use MP4
MP4 with H.264 remains the most portable everyday video file. Use it when you need something that plays on phones, browsers and editors.
When remux is enough
MOV or MKV that already contains H.264 and AAC can become MP4 without touching the pictures or the sound. That is the COPY REMUX path.
When you only need audio
Choose MP3 for a compact soundtrack, or WAV when you want uncompressed audio for editing.

What is remux and when does Justvert use it?
Remux copies existing video and audio streams into a new container without re-encoding. Justvert uses the COPY REMUX path when a MOV or MKV already contains H.264 video and a compatible audio track, then writes an MP4. That is the fastest path and keeps the original quality.
